My BFF Layout

My daughter had a playdate so I got to scrap all afternoon. Whoohoo!

I've been loving all the sketches this month at Sketch-N-Scrap. This one was on my to do list but I didn't think I would get to it before the deadline - but I did, and I love how it turned out!

I'm also playing along at The Paper Girls. Challenge #100 is all about "The Paper Girls" so I went with the friendship theme.

Lasting Memories is having an Oscar theme this month. I'm joining the Glitter and Glam week. I wasn't sure if I should do the "Black Tie Affair" since we are dressed so nicely but I like all the glitter on the page and how glammed up we are! (Zoom in to see the sparkly flowers!)

Supplies
Paper - We R Memory Keepers: Madame Royale
Letters - Fancy Pants: Me-ology (large letters I used a black sharpie over the hot pink)
Embroidery thread
Tim Holtz Distress Tool

This photo is from a family wedding in a tent on the farm. Pig roast, giant cauldrons of corn on the cob and near the end - pouring rain. Glad I got this pic and that the rain held off until the end.

I'm Peppa Pig Layout

My daughter loves the show Peppa Pig. I got her this necklace for Christmas with a Peppa on it. The best part of her watching the show is all the British English she is picking up. She started using it in her everyday speech which I found amusing. I remember one day she said, "Oh Mommy, you are so clever!". She cracks me up.

I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap. It is from their Throwback Thursday Challenge #2.

Legoland Layout

We had such a blast at LEGOLAND. It is perfect for a four-year-old.

This sketch is perfect for showcasing a bunch of photos that wouldn't be worthy of their own page but work great together. I used the layout at the Midweek Mojo Lily #6 Challenge at Scrapbook Steals. I made the lego brick cut file so if anyone wants to have it, I can send it by email. Just leave me a comment:)

Love My Stuffies Layout

This stuffie tiger is so cute. Memère made him some pants and matching pajamas for my daughter. The best part is he make sounds when you squeeze him, including toots! He is a big hit with the four-year-old crowd.

I used the sketch in this month's DCWV Scrap-a-holic Challenge. I turned it sideways and drew on the stitching. I even managed to keep the title going the same direction as the sketch.

I'm also participating in the challenge at Simon Says Stamp. This month's theme is Cute and Cuddly. What isn't more cute and cuddly than stuffies?

Tiger Time Layout

My friend Danielle Serceau took these amazing photos of my daughter dressed up for Halloween at the lake. Each picture she took was fabulous so I continue to scrap this topic because I want to use each picture.

I saw Bev Code's sketch at Let's Get Sketchy and knew right away I needed to use it. One of my goals is to get better at mixed media so I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

The other exciting thing about this layout is that I used my new Silhouette Cameo!!! I got it for my birthday so I've been playing with it all weekend. I found an SVG of the tiger paws, converted it to jpeg and cut it. It was interesting trying to remove it from the sticky mat and onto my layout because those claws were so small they wanted to stick more to my fingers.
