Twinsies Layout

I've been rotating through different colletions lately so I thought I should work with my Maggie Holmes supplies. I went through my cut files until this one from Paper Issues caught my eye. I thought the flowers were similar to the paper. I'm sure glad I like the final product because it sure took a long time!
I debated putting some white gesso behind the flowers but I chickened out. I used thread instead.

Crate Paper - Gather
Paper Issues cut file
Title: Fancy Pants - Life is Beautiful
Stash buttons
Black thread
Chipboard and yellow paper: Crate Paper - Bloom

Stay Sweet Layout

It's so nice having cute nephew pictures to scrapbook. Here he is eating a lemon. I decided to use the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. The colours in his shirt made me think of the Amy Tangerine collections and I used mostly Hustle and Heart.

Lake Life Layout

I wanted to use the current sketch at Stuck Sketches which uses 4 photos. I rarely have 4 photos of the same event so I found these lake photos. I have lots of beach supplies from Paper House Productions so I decided to use the Lake Life Collection. The diamonds at the top of the sketch made me think of this triangle cut file from Paper Issues. I cut a few extra triangles to back in a darker brown to add some more interest.
Here is the sketch:
Supplies
Paper House Productions: Lake Life Collection, Beach Cardstock Multi Pack, Travel New Jersey 2D Stickers
Paper Issues: It's Geometric cut file
Silhouette Cameo
Black pen

I Like Your Face Layout

I'm trying to go through my stash so with Valentine's Day coming up I pulled out the Crate Paper Heart Day collection. I paired it with a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy and I'm liking the final result. I think the patterns in the sketch made me think of the Heart Day collection. I really wanted to keep the white space in the sketch as it is something I'm not good at but I couldn't resist adding more ric rac. And how cute is my nephew!!
Here is the sketch:
Supplies
Crate Paper - Heart Day
Chipboard: Crate Paper - Hello Love
White cardstock
Michael's: Red ric rak
Heidi Swapp: Cherry Color Shine
Black fine tip Sharpie pen

Noel Layout for S.I.T.

I'm back at Sketches In Thyme with a Christmas layout this month. My daughter loved her stocking presents so it was fun to capture them on this layout.
Here is the sketch:
No automatic alt text available.
I opened random snowflake cut files and drew circles the same sizes as the sketch. I moved them around until I found snowflakes and circles that looked good together. I welded them so the machine would cut snowflake frames. I used textured cardstock to make it more interesting. The smaller snowflakes are from punches. I used ribbon to separate my background papers and some glitter glue to make the snowflakes sparkle. The snowflakes ended up too big to all be on one side of the layout so I spread them across.
Supplies
Crate Paper: Falala
Silhouette Cameo cut files (one from the Hip Kit Club)
Glitter glue
Craft Smith textured cardstock
Core'dinations black cardstock
White pen

Family Fun Christmas Layout

I got my Christmas pictures developed so I had to scrap at least one. I decided to use a bunch of cut files to piece together scraps of paper. This truly is a stash buster.
I'm playing along with the Take 5 Challenge at Paper Issues. I used a sticker, frame, star, pink and cardstock.
I debated putting some journaling 'on the rug' but it is actually fuzzy paper so I figured no matter which way I try, it would be messy and look out of place. The Silhouette store had a sale last month so I used a pile of cut files. I had trouble choosing a background paper but the pink makes things pop without clashing too much!
Supplies
Fancy Pants Oh Deer sequins
Creative Embellishments chipboard
My Mind's Eye bows and stockings
Bella Blvd sticker
Recollections wood grain paper
Doodlebug white fuzzy paper
Mambi sticker lights
EK Success present stickers
Lots of random papers and cut files
