Hello There Layout for Paper House Productions

I have a new favourite layout to share with you today. I used the Be Happy Paper Pad from Paper House Productions. That's it! No digging through the stash - just one paper pad and done. Okay, maybe I added a few enamel dots but the rest is from the paper pad.
The flower cluster on the right is fussy cut. I lifted them up by putting some dimensional glue dots under them. That's it - easy peasy.

Stargazer Bookmarks for Paper House Productions

We are doing off-the-page projects this week at Paper House Productions. I decided to make bookmarks. I've been enjoying some good books lately and am always looking for a decent bookmark. Now I'm all set.
The Stargazer collection has lots of cool purples and stars. I even took the manufacturer's strips at the bottom and wove them together for one of the bookmarks.

Happiness is a Day at the Beach Layout for Paper House Productions

This week we are making rainbow layouts at Paper House Productions. I decided to do a colour blocking grid layout. I used some pictures of my family at the lake so I thought the Sun Drenched Paper Pad would work well.
I used some ink mixed with water on the background. Then I put together squares full of stickers, papers and embellishments of the same colour. The title was easy to include as it is one of the papers in the paper pad and I tore it out so the edges were not perfect. Lastly, I thought the sequins with all the colours of the layout brought all the squares together to look like sand.

Whooo Loves You? Layout for Paper House Productions

Valentine's day is coming up so we are all about love over at Paper House Productions. Of course I had to scrap a baby picture of my daughter. Even better, she is dressed all in red and matches the theme!
This was one of those layouts that came together one piece at a time. I knew I wanted to use the Color Washed Paper Pad and Hearts Project Pad. I punched out a pile of hearts and arranged them a million different ways before I settled on the heart shape. The hearts from the project pad needed a couple extra sizes, so I punched out a bunch more with my punches. It took awhile to glue them all but it was worth it! The sewing came next and then the stamping. I looked through my 3D stickers and found these owls. They are the perfect colour and match the theme. I just love how it turned out!

One in a Melon Layout for Paper House Productions

I'm so excited to share this layout! We were challenged this week at Paper House Productions to use at least three different types of stickers. I know it is January, but a girl can dream of summer, right?
So I pulled out the summer collections and noticed I had a lot of watermelon stickers. I knew I had a watermelon picture so I went from there. I found this watermelon cut file in my stash from Paper Issues. I cut the title from black cardstock and played around with all my watermelon supplies!
I used gesso on the background. Once it dried, I added some red paint mixed with water. Then I splattered some red and black paint. The watermelon at the bottom is made from two corner pockets for a planner. At the end of the day, I used puffy stickers, 3D stickers, cardstock stickers, flake stickers and 2" stickers.

Stargazer Layout for Paper House Productions

This week we are featuring the Stargazer line at Paper House Productions. This is a new line of paper and stickers and if you like purple - you will be thrilled! I love purple, so this was fun to use. Right away, I thought of space when I went through this collection. Our family visited the Kennedy Space Center a few years ago and of course I have yet to scrap all my pictures. This was the perfect collection to get a few more pictures in the album. I chose a picture of my daughter touching a moon rock and a picture of the Apollo 14 Kitty Hawk.
I had to use this gorgeous paper as my background. I also did a search through my cut files for anything with stars and came across this Paige Evans file. It is concentric stars so I had fun playing with them. I cut them from a double sided paper so some stars are the front of the paper and some are the back of the paper. The whiter portion of the center star is the background paper showing through. I embellished with faux enamel stickers and a pack of 3D space stickers. I was pretty happy with how the picture of the lunar module looks like it could be part of the sticker collection. I didn't want to write on the background as it was a little dark, so I used some planner stickers. My final touch was to outline the center star with washi tape.

Marvelous Smile for Paper House Productions

Hello everyone! Here is my first layout of 2019! I made this for Paper House Productions and the assignment this week is to use a paper pad. It was hard to pick just one paper pad. I have so many favourites, but in the end, I wanted to back a cut file and the Color Washed Paper Pad lends itself nicely to this technique.
I cut the butterflies out using a cut file by Paige Evans in the Silhouette Store. I used a thick white cardstock. To back each butterfly, I pulled several papers from the paper pad. I traced one of the cut out butterflies and cut it leaving a bit of extra paper around the traced outline. I trimmed it until it fit nicely and then used it as my stencil to trace for all the other butterflies. Luckily, all the butterflies are the same size so I traced them all, cut them all and then adhered them all. I love how the background is mixed media, but doesn't require any of the work! It is a paper in the paper pad. The title is from the Marbleous collection but the banners are part of the cardstock stickers that come with the paper pad. I used Glue Dots to pop them a bit higher off the page since my other stickers are 3D and pop up as well.

Teacher Planner for Paper House Productions

Happy New Year! What better way to start the year than to set-up a new planner? I'm so happy to have a Paper House Productions Teacher Planner. In the past I've used a bigger book and didn't decorate but now I'm hooked. This smaller size will be nice to have out in my classroom where I don't have a lot of room. And I get to play with stickers - yay!
So this week is a little deceiving because there is no school so I'm not doing a whole lot! So I got to use lots of stickers!

So Very Merry for Paper House Productions and Thermoweb

This week the Paper House Productions team is teaming up with Thermoweb. They have all sorts of foils and adhesive products. I've never used foils before so this was a lot of fun adding something new to my repertoire.
What better way to show off foil than with Christmas lights? I've been wanting to use some of the cut files I've purchased so the Paige Evans tree became my starting point. I sprayed mist on the tree and spread it with a paint brush. Just before it dried I sprayed it with Color Shine.
I cut the Christmas lights with my Silhouette Cameo. The cord was in black, the lights in white. I used a glue pen to spread adhesive on the lights and let them dry. Then I placed the foil with the color side up and pressed it firmly into the adhesive. Then I peeled the foil liner away. I also foiled the star on top of the tree and the title. I also used black photo corners from Thermoweb to add more interest to my photos.
I outlined the tree with a pencil on my base paper. Then I spread yellow ink with a foam dabber. To finish off the layout I used the Paper House micro stickers to add touches to the tree, stars to the background and presents under the tree.
Please check out the links below for some awesome products and make sure to see what the design team has been creating all week!

I used a cut file from Paper Issues. I backed the circles with the gold circles from a Christmas Joy paper. The stars I covered with a variety of gold star stickers.

Soccer Layout with Glue Dots and Paper House Productions

This week Paper House Productions is teaming up with Glue Dots! I made a soccer layout using the All Star Soccer kit. Glue Dots sent me some linear glue lines so I decided to make a layout with strips. The glue lines made it super easy to attach. I just laid my paper along the strips and pulled it off.
The Glue Dots super strength dot runner was perfect for attaching my photos. They are thick, super sticky dots that glide onto the page. Super easy to use. Of course I had to use some 3D stickers on the layout. That soccer net is so cool. I tried to mute the polka dot pattern with gesso. Here is a closer version.
