Fall Family Fun Layout

I developed my pictures at a camera shop instead of the drugstore and got beautiful prints. This was my best picture and couldn't wait to scrap it. Then I forgot I got a matte finish and laid my stickable stencil on top. I ended up ruining the picture with glue all over it and the stencil ripped. I reprinted the picture at the drugstore and the quality is terrible. But the layout is finished. Maybe one day I can put a higher quality print into this layout. Hope no one else has this problem!

I'm trying to get the hang of doing mixed media. It's slowly coming along. Still trying to figure out how gesso, distress ink and paint all work.

I used the challenge at Creative Embellishments to inspire my layout. It requires a circular element and I wanted to use this circle of leaves with this picture. The inspiration picture has falling snow so I decided to put falling leaves in my layout. There were also blue and yellow shades in the picture. So excited to finally be playing along in their challenge!

I'm also playing along at The Paper Girls. Challenge #96 is to include a forest friend. I added the squirrel to my layout.

Paper Issues also has a Mix It Up challenge this month in their Facebook group. I used paint, texture paste and distress ink.
