Winter Wonders Layout

Not sure why I'm on a Christmas kick when I look forward to summer during our awful winters. I think all the challenges lately have worked well with Christmas and I haven't used those kits for a long time so it's like new again! Here is a picture of my daughter at three weeks old and my sister-in-law. I just love when pictures turn out perfectly like this one.

I really wanted to try the challenge at Pinkfresh Studios this month. It is a recipe challenge and I haven't done a lot of those. I'm so glad I did because I never would've thought to combine some of these elements and I like how this turned out. Here is the recipe from their site:

You will have to create a layout/card/any kind of project with these elements...
1. Only 2 patterned papers  (I used the background and it's B side plus one more paper).
(you can use the double-sided ones, that makes 4 pattern already)
2. Puffy Stickers (the deer and one tree are stickers as well as the ones on the picture)
3. Stamps (snowflakes, date and title before embossing).
4. Mist/Watercolor (mist)
5. Black & White photo.

I used this sketch from Let's Get Sketchy because I figured I could get away with using only 2 patterned papers with this!

I'm also joining the Paper Issues: Gleam Catchers challenge as this is one sparkly layout!

There is an Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp and I actually used stamps on a layout!

Supplies
Pinkfresh Studios: Christmas Wishes (paper and puffy stickers)
Gold paper - Fancy Pants: Life Is Beautiful
Mist - Heidi Swapp Color Shine: Tea
Black Embossing Powder - Close To My Heart
Snowflake Stamp, Title Stamp & Date Stamp - the stash
Ribbon, Gold Thread, Sequins and Glitter Glue - Dollarama

Thanks for stopping by!
