It's A Girl Thing Layout

These photos were taken at the Children's Museum. My daughter loved machinery and would stop to watch it at any opportunity. She jumped at the chance to actually use the machines.

I began with the June 1st sketch from Stuck?!

I used Recollections: Basic Bold for the grey and yellow paper. The yellow, black, blue and orange cardstock are Recollections. The blue chevron paper is open stock Recollections. The white note paper is Pink Paislee: Hello Sunshine.

The title is from Fancy Pants: Dancing Girl (do you like the cheeky feminist twist?!). I used some markers to change the colour of the letters to match the layout. Then I made the 'caution' signs from some chipboard.

Now, the best part - the construction stickers. I 'borrowed' these from my daughter's John Deere sticker book. I was pretty excited when I remembered we had this. I also used staples on my layout for the first time. I just used regular staples and like how it adds to the raw material feel.

Thanks for stopping by!
